
The
(Grindstone Path) took its name from the grindstones
that were discovered throughout the site when it was constructed.
Those stones, excavated in New-Brunswick, were used to
grind all kinds of instruments such as axes, scythes, hayforks
and rakes, all manufactured at the Bedford Manufacturing
Co. between 1895 and 1933.
The (Grindstone Path), an oasis
of peace in the middle of town for sightseers, cyclists
and nature lovers.
