Since its foundation in 2001, the Bedford Development
Corporation has been busyputting
together a series of initiatives that help contribute to the
growth of our region.
One such program is called « Live the Difference » geared
towards buyers of new homes in the municipalities of Bedford,
Bedford Township and Stanbridge Station.
The prime objectives of this program are to speed up the building of new houses
and to encourage young families to stay or settle in the region. Several
measures have been taken in this respect.
The program proposes a series of incentives that translate into savings of
several thousands of dollars for the new homebuyer. The presentation kit includes
the following:
- A unified three-year tax credit offered by the municipalities
of Bedford, Bedford Township and Stanbridge Station.
- A free consultation (a $50 value) at any one of the three
Notary Offices in Bedford
- Two fire extinguishers and two fire detectors, compliments
of the Bedford insurance brokers. (a $50 value).
- A $150 voucher from Pétroles Dupont.
- Over and above the various promotional incentives and rebates,
the Caisse Populaire de Bedford is pleased to offer an indoor
or outdoor decorative item worth $250 to a new home buyer when
he or she signs the mortgage contract.
- A free registration to any of the activities offered by the
St-Damien Recreation & Sports Program. (a $60 value)
- Each of the three participating municipalities has several
lots available at very competitive prices.
